James Harden Coveted Another Trophy At The NBA Awards Show
Houston Rockets star James Harden arguably played his best regular season ever.
Harden led the NBA with 11.2 assists per game and he was second to Russell Westbrook in scoring at 29.1 points per game. Both were career best numbers for him. The Beard also posted career highs in rebounds ( 7.0 ) , free throws made per game ( 9.2 ) and free throws attempted per game ( 10.9 ). He also led the Rockets to the third best record in the NBA during the 2017 season. With such accomplishments, Harden was nominated as one of the finalists for the 2017 NBA MVP award along with former teammate Russell Westbrook and San Antonio Spurs’ main man Kawhi Leonard.
So the Beard was dressed to kill at the first annual NBA Awards show last last June 26, 2017.
When it was announced at the end part of the show, James Harden lost the MVP race to Russell Westbrook but he surely didn’t go home disappointed.
It seemed that the Houston Rockets Superstar was more interested in another 'trophy' that during the first annual NBA Awards Show. Not the Maurice Podoloff trophy which was awarded to his former OKC teammate Westbrook. Take a look at Harden here, staring at the prize:

Yes, James Harden is a member of the All-NBA Kardashian Team. He's one of five NBA players who dated Khloe Kardashian. The others are Rashad McCann ( PG ), Rick Fox ( SF ) , Lamar Odom ( PF ) and current Khloe beau Tristan Thompson ( C ). Now wouldn't that quintet be a good NBA starting unit? Together in their primes, yes. That's another story though.
Let's go back to the to the 'Anaconda' artist. Nicki Minaj and 2Chainz delivered the main musical performance of the NBA Awards night. The duo first performed the single ' Realize' from their 'Pretty Girls Like Trap Music' album. Next Nicki did her Remy Ma-shading track 'No Frauds' while dressed in white fur. Minaj finished off her captivating performance with her verse from Katy Perry's ' Swish Swish'. Obviously, she swished James Harden's nets too.

With the Rockets trailing the series 2-3, Harden managed to score just 10 points on 2-11 shooting during that game. The Spurs ran away with murder, 114-75 to advance to the conference finals. It was a dismal effort from Harden, especially cp soldering that it was an elimination game for them and the fact that it was played in Houston. And yes, the Spurs were without Kawhi Leonard in that night.
